Vehicle sightings & alerts
Use authorised sighting data to surface an identified vehicle when information becomes available.
06 / Enterprise & Vehicle Intelligence
Authorised vehicle visibility and governed recovery workflows configured around a lawful mandate, suitable providers and available data sources.
Identify and observe. Connect the case record. Respect what the source can—and cannot—show.
PRAEVIGIL can combine authorised sighting data, alerts, governed access, workflow allocation, field updates and auditable case history for recovery and protective enquiries.
Vehicle sighting data is event-based, not continuous GPS. Continuous telemetry requires a separate, authorised source. Availability depends on lawful authority, permissions, coverage, provider suitability, source availability and latency, and confirmed delivery scope.
Interpretation limit: a sighting does not identify a driver, establish possession or prove hostile intent. Material action requires corroboration and human assessment.
Operational capability
Technology, access control and field workflow operate as one governed capability.
Use authorised sighting data to surface an identified vehicle when information becomes available.
Connect sightings, instructions, evidence, actions and outcomes to one controlled case record.
Assign recovery or field actions, maintain ownership and keep escalation visible.
Support structured work in the field with synchronised task and evidence updates.
Capture a structured 44-point condition check with multi-angle photographs where the authorised workflow requires it.
Timestamp actions, resolve queries, preserve evidential history and apply review gates before material outcomes.
Illustrative workflow · Not a case study
A protective workflow links assessment, lawful identification, authorised sources and mitigation—without treating raw data as a decision.
Clarify the concern, credibility, exposure and legitimate need.
Lawfully obtain and test identifiers or descriptors.
Confirm mandate, permissions, provider and source suitability.
Interpret a sighting alongside independent context.
Take proportionate action and preserve the decision trail.
Illustrative only: this workflow is not a case study. A sighting does not identify a driver or prove hostile intent.
Governed use
Tracking and monitoring activity must remain proportionate to the mandate and available legal authority.
Use depends on legitimate purpose, contractual permission and applicable law.
Teams understand what a source can—and cannot—show.
Visibility is role-based, segregated and limited to authorised users.
Alerts are interpreted in context before material action is taken.
Searches, alerts, actions and decisions remain reviewable.
Material outcomes and escalations receive appropriate review.
